Litigation Attorney

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil litigation procedures, excellent research and writing skills, and a proven ability to effectively advocate for clients. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding legal matters, including [list 2-3 key areas of litigation, e.g., complex commercial litigation, intellectual property disputes, employment law].

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, case management, and trial preparation
  • Advise clients on legal strategies and options
  • Represent clients in court and at mediation and arbitration proceedings
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Active and in good standing with the [State] Bar
  • At least 4 years of experience in civil litigation
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
